Pros*

Good royalties on external sales.

Cons*

Slightly expensive setup fee.

Slightly expensive retail price.

Royalties are the same for internal and external sales (?)

Additional Comments*

This comparison uses their Sapphire package as a reference. They offer a $199.00 Emerald package but it is not commercially viable due to the lack of distribution and ISBN and extremely low discount which makes direct marketing all but impossible.

There are two more expensive packages (Ruby, $599.00, and Diamond $999.00).
