This is a fairly straight forward basic design. Of course, each page can be customized with graphics and so on, however this design does not feature a navigation bar in each one of its pages (though it can feature back and next links). Even though such a basic system may have some drawbacks, and would not result in a site that is particularly easy to navigate, keeping this design updated is extramely easy because adding new material does not force you to modify your existing pages, nor does it feature frames, something that makes things easier for some search engines..
