Pricing information

Each site is designed individually, and the total cost depends on a number of factors, but these fees should provide you with a good rough estimate.

Fees:

$20.00 to $30.00 per page depending on the complexity of the design ($20.00 is more common than $30.00, and for very simple designs the fee can go down to $15.00 per page).

A button set may be custom made for your site with the theme of your choice or matching your site's background. The cost for this service is $50.00 for a basic set featuring a title banner, a home button, an e-mail button and a promotional banner others can use to link to your site. Additional buttons are $10.00 each.

A page with more than 25 external links has an additional fee of $10.00 for each additional 25 external links.

You are responsible for providing your own content and graphics, except for the backgrounds (though if you wish to provide your own background you are free to do so).

If you just want me to provide you with a custom template that you can use to build your site yourself the fees would start at $50.00 or $90.00 (depending on whether or not you want your site to feature frames).

Additional information:

Hosting is not included, but I can suggest a host that meets your needs. In most instances, when it comes to a commercial host for an average site, that recommendation will probably take the form of ebizalive.net, because they offer a lot of control, some powerful features, have an excellent customer service and affordable fees.

You are obviously free to choose whoever you feel comfortable with.

A simple site with no extras costs approximately $200.00. This covers between seven and ten pages in most instances.

Keep in mind that a design that uses frames would have a number of additional pages that wouldn't be immediately apparent.

Each one of the sample sites that you see here falls well within this $200.00 budget.

Payment methods:

You can pay using PayPal (this allows you to use most major credit cards as well). Since each project is billed independently and there are no fixed figures a shopping cart system wouldn't work, therefore I use the following method:

You contact me and submit your files, we agree on a design fee for your project and I e-mail you a request for half of that amount once you've approved a non-functional basic design (in the form of a snapshot). When I receive that down payment I create your website and upload it temporarily to a WIP section. Once you approve that final design I'll send you a request for the second half of the payment, and once that payment is received I will send you the files or I will upload your site to a server of your choice.
