The Author's Pack is intended to provide an
affordable and complete solution for
self-published and POD published authors. This
is what you get:
- A frames based site featuring your bio, a
book excerpt, an "about this book" page, a
detailed cover page and a reviews page (you
decide which one you want to make you home
page, or alternatively an independent home
page may be designed for you at no extra
cost, as long as you supply the specific
content).
- The possibility of adding more titles as
they become available so that your site can
grow with you.
- Links to places where you book may be
purchased (amazon.com, b&n and/or your
book's publisher).
- The creation of a button or banner based
on your book's cover that links to the
retailer of your choice.
- Links back to your e-mail.
What you pay:
- The basic fee for this package is $120.00
for the first book and additional titles may
be added (each with its individual, complete
info) for $60.00.
- Additional titles may be included when
the site is first created or later on. The
fee is the same in both instances.
- Individual pages can be updated for
$15.00 each (for instance if you want to
feature some additional reviews after the
site is created).
- Additional pages can be added for a flat
$15.00 per page fee (if you want to feature
some additional content). This fee does not
extend to frames-free sites, unless the pages
in question are made available when the site
is first created.
- If you want a frames-free site the basic
design fees are the same, but the fee for
additional titles goes up to $90.00 (this
increase does not apply to additional books
that are available when the site is created,
just to those books that are made available
at a later date). Fees for additional pages
not available when the site is first created
are estimated on a case by case basis.
Add-ons:
- You can request a "Button Pack", which
includes a site banner and three buttons that
match your site's theme or background. The
"Button Pack" costs $50.00 and additional
buttons may be requested for $10.00
each.
What you need:
- The information you want featured in your
site (including book cover and author's
photo).
- Detailed information on some of your
preferences, such as background color,
background image (if you want one) and so
on.
- A web host and preferably a domain name
(I recommend ebizalive.net,
but choosing a host is up to you).
How long do you wait for the site to be
ready:
- It depends on my work load at any given
time, but usually less than a week (unless
you request additional changes during the
design process).
How you pay:
- Once your site is ready I'll upload it to
a test site, and once you've approved the
design I'll ask for your payment via e-mail
(you can pay either via PayPal or using a
major credit card). Once I've received your
payment I'll upload your site where you want
it and/ or send you the files as an
attachment.
